Irma's Lasagna

1 lb. Hamburger (20% fat)
2 Italian sausages (2 out of a pack of 4)
1 Large Onion chopped (or 2 small)
2 Cloves Garlic
1 26 oz. can Tomato (mashed whole ones)
2 16 oz. can Tomato Puree
2 tbsp. Parsley
2 tbsp. Chili Powder
1 tbsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
Large package (1 1/2 pounds about) Mozzarella Cheese (grated)
1 cup of Parmesan Cheese (Kraft)
Fry ground beef and sausage an until done, slightly brown. Add Onion & Garlic and cook until limp. Stir in Tomatoes and Puree. Add Parsley, Chili power, Salt & Pepper. Let simmer 1/2 to 1 hour on low.

Cook Lasagna Noodles (1 lb package) by directions on box.

Put in Casserole: A thin layer of sauce, layer of cooked noodles, layer Mozzarella cheese, layer sauce, noodles, cheese, repeat layering until near full. Finish up with a layer of sauce and cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan on top.

Bake at 375 about 30 to 45 minutes until slightly brown on top, and bubbly all over.

All amounts may be adjusted to suit personal whim. Smell, taste & modify until happy.
