- 2010-January-10 I just added a link to my main page. I will go back and
at least get a list of updated pages since 2009 April and at least put
them here.
One of the most obvious changes occurred in September when I got
Google Voice. I changed the telelphone number display at the bottom
of almost every page; and made it link to a page that has the
Google Voice graphic and explains how to use it. On that page I put
a link to the Bio page the old phone number links went to, it makes
the Bio one click further away, but does not change any other links
to it. (Some links may have been on other web sites.)
Upcoming changes, hopefully in the near future
On my Home Page I have links to: Ursl, My Likes, Interests, Advice; and
Interests, and "less used links". This all needs to be consolidated.

Mid December 2008 I bought an Apple Mac
Mini, because I hated the HP/Vista 64-bit so much. See next change
update. I haven't yet figured out how to update my web pages on the
Mac, and I lost the source files I brought with last fall. So I haven't
done much updating of my web pages, and won't until I get back to San
Jose where I have a WinMe computer which runs DOS programs better than
anything Microsoft has done since. The few New things
are:

Added a line of links above the "Google link line" my thoughts were
to put links to my latest rants there as a test.
- I moved my MVQA and WPQA web sites from the web space I got from the
Quartzsite Internet Service Provider, TDS, to Godaddy where I buy space.
This will make it possible to drop TDS and keep MVQA.COM and WPQA.COM
working.
- Added another link to my "Friends" page.
- 2008-July-7 12:18 I am editing this on an HP Tablet computer running
VISTA Home Premium Version 6.0 (64-Bit). Both are the worst I have seen!
It appears the designers of both think I am their victim, and their
purpose is to sell me everything they can from any company who pay will
them to "force advertize". In short you pay HP (and indirectly Microsoft)
for tons of SPAM. Need I point out: Everybody hates VISTA, except possibly
Apple and Steve Jobs?
When I get back to San Jose, I will try to put a version of Linex
on this computer, and dump everything from HP, Microsoft, Symantic and
other trash peddlers.
In a way it saddens me to write this because at one time HP
was such a great company. That was when Bill Hewlett and David Packard
ran the company, but since they left it has been going to the dogs as
more and more of the old employees jump ship.
- 2008-April-26 I reloaded the web pages I did while over the winter
in Quartzsite. This is so my San Jose computer E: drive contains the most
recent versions of all my web pages. (This will return a darker yellow
background.
- 2007-July-28 I started a bit of a "clean-up" of the web pages. So I
can tell them easier newer pages will have a slightly lighter yellow
background. Supporting the web site from a different computer in San
Jose from the one I used in Quartzsite has caused some problems, what I
have on the San Jose computer does not have updates I made in
Quartzsite.
- 2007-07-06 I copied my Math stuff to a new folder so
www.lafarr.com/math would get to it. (The old folder is, for the time
being still there, so older links on other peoples web sites will still
work. Eventually, I will make those jump to the newer folder.)
- 2007-July I decided some of the tables I had tucked away would be
better if they were directly available. I put the links where there was
a General Weather link, it is now just the "NOAA" heading below.
- 2007-June I found out the MVQA and WPQA sites were not available
when I stopped the DSL service I had with the Quartzsite phone company
TDS. I switched those links to go to a temporary page.
- 2007-May I inserted a note about my problems with the neighbors
putting Moth Balls around their place, to the extent I felt like I was
being gassed.
- 2006-July-31 I added an article critical of Israel's attack on
Lebanon, under "World Problems".
- 2006-02-15 I changed the Phone Number Block at the end of pages
go to wwww.lafarr.info which will now go to my BIO page. I need
to recompile and upload the more popular pages for this correction.
- 2006-02-08 Added under "World Problems" a link to "Rights?" which
I think is an interesting discussion of Peoples Rights in the USA.
- 2006-02-06 Made www.lafarr.com go to a page where I am
putting on line the original lease for the "Resorts" where I own
property. This makes "clicking" on the phone number block go to the
lease pages, the older pages will say for my BIO; so I have a link to
the BIO near the top of the first Quartzsite lease page.
- 06-01-24 Moved the list of "Interesting Websites" to a separate
page, and made the title to it a link.
- 2006-01-19 Changed my "ending block" to make it more obvious the
phone numbers image is a link.
- 2006-January-13 I added "Tables" and "Addresses" links.
- 2005-October-16 I have added a page about getting public
transportation to and from Quartzsite. To find it: click on the phone
number block at the bottom of each page, there is a link there.
I also added a page about getting better gasoline mileage. It is
sort of hidden. From my main page, you have to click on "World Problems"
then "Petroleum" then follow an obvious link.
- 2005 October 11 I got the old Quartszite Hot air Balloon photos up.
- 2005 October 5. Added a link to a page with African photos to my
main page, it is also in my Friends and Relatives page.
- 2005 October 1. Because I have had some biter complaints because of
my domain name changes, I have put a disclaimer on a few pages. You can
get to it from this page. I hope to keep the pages, but then I never
anticipated loosing: ZYVRA.NET
- Recently, there has been a lot of talk about teaching about God in
biology classes. (Now called "Intelligent Design".) I put some thoughts
about evolution and the origins of life into a web page. There's a
link at the bottom of my home page.
- Later in September 2005, I added some thoughts about the Katrina, and
Rita.
- In September 2005 I put in new pages about: a trip to Flaming Gorge,
and some thoughts about "World Problems" Mostly running out of
petroleum.
- 2005 Aug 15: I registered

and have web space for a blog. Expect to run "Pivot" blog program, on
it. Some time ago I made my phone numbers at the bottom of each page a
link. The link to "weeds in my back yard" is now reached from there.
But in the future I expect this to go to the blog. It is my hope to have
recent events in my life there, as well as comments from others.
I modified my web page making tools to put in the date when I
start a new web page. Often, I make a trivial change to a web page
which shows up as the Last up Date; but the date it was started is often
more relevant. So now my newer pages will have both.
- Mid August 2005: I was able to get back the Domain Name: LAFARR.COM
(The case does not matter, but with the internet, I think it is smarter
to use all lower case.) I now have www.lafarr.com forwarded to
www.zyvra.org/lafarr/bio.htm I think that is more what people who
only know my first name would want.

Links in a "yellow" background are to my pages. Often, they have more
links to someone else's pages. I put them in a separate page of
related links. I hope this reduces the confusion of too many similar
links.

I have the HTML source for the web site on my hard drive here in
Quartzsite, AZ. As of 2005 April 20 I am remaking my web pages starting
with the Home Page. Others will follow shortly.
If by some quirk of fate I am able to get the zyvra.net domain
name back I certainly will. It will point to the same web site, so
links at other web sites pointing to mine would continue to
work.
