There has been a bit of "editorializing" but in general it is quite
accurate, and has a few pictures of me playing in Arizona. Also, from
it one can find out where there are Doctors and treatment centers using
their equipment.
The following is an index for a detailed description of my Prostate
Cancer experience, written as I was experiencing it. Only minor
corrections made since. The most recent is at the bottom of the
list. To follow my experiences, start at the top. There are links
on each page Back and Next.
- 2010-08-31 Getting the markers implanted in my
prostate.
- 2010-09-07 Setup locating the implants, and
making a mold so I will be in exactly the same position for every
treatment.
- 2010-09-10 Testing the setup on the radiation machine
- 2010-09-13 My first Radiation Treatment.
- 2010-09-15 My first side effects of the
radiation Treatment.
- 2010-09-16 The first side effects seem to
lessen. I will add more when I see changes. Now I am pretty much into
the routine of going the 11 miles for the treatments each morning.
- 2010-09-17 Photos of me on the machine after
the first week of treatments, my 5th one.
- 2010-10-14 24 treatments with
almost no side effects.
- 2010-10-24 30 treatments, nothing much different
but the end is in sight.
- 2011-01-10 Nearly 3 months after the 40th
treatment, my last one! And result of the Jan. 10th PSA test.
- 2011-04-13 About 6 months after my last
treatment.
- 2011-10-06 Nearly a year after my last treatment.
