Hi,
Not a lot of news but we have been without water today from about 7:15AM. It is 4:20 and we are sweaty and hot and in dire need of a shower. The good news is that Steve is fixing the big water leak on lot #55. I went over there at 2PM to see how they were doing and they said they had to wait for the hole to dry up before they could fix it. The bigger the hole, the more water runs into it. I said I would bail it out with a bucket because the ground was totally saturated and wouldn't dry up for days. I went home and got a bucket and after an hour and about 300 buckets full, I got the water out so they could actually find the break. It was a cracked fitting that the faucet was screwed into. Those fittings tend to break under pressure or something. Every leak I have found has been a crack below the threaded area in the 2 inch fitting. Every water line in the park drained back into the hole, so you can imagine how much water I bailed out of that hole.
No news on the health inspection of the 58 Project property.
Another double wide showed up on Steve's property yesterday. That's five plus his triple wide. He had the driveways all paved and concrete sidewalks poured on each side of the driveways. He is building a 5 foot tall Mexican brick fence all around the entire 6 acres. It looks like either a prison or a nudist resort with tall walls like that. Don't ask how I know. Ha.
Water! We just got water. Steve and his helper just drove out of the park and honked, so Gail tried the tap. We have water. Until there is no water, you don't realize how much we depend on it. It's a good thing that Mc Donalds has public restrooms and is nearby.
I will cut this short and go hop into the shower. Oh, happy day! It's 4:38PM.
