We had a very nice visit from our friends, Gary & Virginia Tucker, from Priest River, ID and Yuma, AZ. They showed up about noon yesterday on their way to Yuma for the season. They parked their motor home on our lot 48 and we had a great visit. They left about 5AM this morning to go to Yuma. They are anxious to get to their house in Yuma and settle in for the season. We even found out that their friends are the people that bought the big house on Moon Mtn. Ave. across the street from West Park Resort. They paid $350,000 cash for it. Their names are Cliff & Lois.
We had very strong winds that came up about 1 AM, then it started raining about 3 AM and it is still raining. It is a nice, gentle, soaking rain and not a cloud burst like we almost always get with the monsoon season. No flooding this time. The wind has stopped completely and it is only 70 degrees right now. We have the A/C turned off and the windows all open. There is a bunny on the lawn and a dozen or so quail on our fence to the west. The sun is poking through the clouds in the East, bathing everything in a golden glow. Life is good!
