Hi, everyone...

As you know, Steve Bennett fixed the big water leak on lot 15 yesterday. The lot is still very wet but I will assume that the leak is fixed. I will watch it.

As I mentioned before, we need to put some kind of pressure reducer on the main water line. Or a gate valve that requires a lot of turns to turn the water pressure back on slowly after it has been shut off for repairs. I suggest this because it seems that every time the water gets shut off and turned back on, there is a sudden surge of pressure that blows out something else. It usually takes 24 hours or more for leaks to start showing up after turning the water back on.

Well... I made the rounds of all the lots this morning and...

Now there is a big leak on LaFarr's lot number 28 and lot number 57 is leaking again. It was fixed about 6 or 8 weeks ago. Now the leak on lot 31 next to ours is getting worse. The workers simply turn the water back on too fast!

There must have been a flash flood from a storm in the mountains because the wash behind the east lots was running with lots of water. We did not get any rain here. The road between lots 55 and 56 is completely washed out and the "parking lot" where we are supposed to park extra vehicles is now isolated. The Mexicans that build the brick walls have bricks and their cement mixers stored there and now they can't get to them. It will take a big back hoe to fill in the wash again when it dries out.

I will go see Steve this morning and get things handled.

One more thought... As we all come and go in our motorhomes, could we all hook up and unhook our tow vehicles in the parking lot by the clubhouse? There is plenty of room for this on the gravel. Then our roads won't get mashed by the motorhomes sitting in one place for a few minutes. The streets have bid dents where the dual wheels of our motorhomes sat while we hooked and unhooked them as we left for the summer. The "pavement" is a sand slurry with oil and is not very durable.

Thanks, and we miss everyone.
