Here's the info on bus service from QZ to Las Vegas via Parker. The town van service from QZ to Parker is on Thursdays and starts pickup at 8:00 AM with arrival in Parker between 9:30 and 10:00 AM. Return from Parker to QZ arrives back in QZ between 4:30 and 5:00 PM. Perhaps the driver would wait for the bus from Las Vegas (scheduled arrival at 3:00 PM) if they were expecting you. The QZ Transit Service requires that you call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a pick-up.

The bus service between Parker and Las Vegas (via Lake Havasu City,Needles, Laughlin and Searchlight) is operated by K-T Services. Departure from Parker is at 11:15 AM from the Burger King at 701 Riverside Drive (about 2 blocks east of California Avenue). Arrival in Las Vegas at the Greyhound station is scheduled for 3:00 PM. The return trip leaves Las Vegas at 10:15 AM and is scheduled into Parker at 3:00 PM. The one-way fare is $38. Note that some of these times will change when CA and NV change from daylight to standard time. You can find the latest schedule by asking for QZ to Las Vegas on the Greyhound web site and then finding the schedule via Phoenix and Parker. Or by calling K-T services in North Las Vegas 702-644-2233 and hacking your way through the jungle of their phone system.

As we discussed, you could drive to Parker any day, leave your vehicle parked there, take the bus to Las Vegas and retrieve your vehicle by taking the QZ van to Parker on the next Thursday.

Another alternative would be for someone (such as Warner and Maxine or Dennis, etc.) to take you to Parker.
